Charles A. (Mac) McClure is Chairman of the Board of McClure Partners, a full service real estate brokerage and development company.
Professional Background
Mac entered the real estate profession in 1975 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of The McClure Group, Inc., a multi-corporation holding firm that includes a commercial brokerage, property management, and development companies. During his real estate career, Mr. McClure has closed over $1 Billion of real estate transactions and negotiated over $500 million in lease transactions. He holds the prestigious CCIM and CRE designations. In 2009, Mr. McClure was awarded the prestigious FRICS designation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors under their eminence program. His firm has acquired and managed Pension Fund assets in excess of $700,000,000,000.
CCIM Institute and Professional Affiliation Experience
Mac is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Texas and Oklahoma, and holds both the prestigious designations CCIM, FRICS, and CRE. He is a past President of the Abilene Board of Realtors® where he received a Realtor® of the Year award; a past Regional Vice President of the Texas Association of Realtors®; a former Trustee of the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee; and a Life Member of the Realtors® Political Action Committee. He was the 2009 President of the CCIM Institute.
Instructional Background
He is currently a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute and an instructor and lecturer for the North Texas CCIM Chapter and numerous other CCIM Chapters in the United States.
Mac is a nationally recognized speaker on commercial and investment real estate and an author of several articles for various real estate publications.
Education
Mac graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Management and Finance and from Hardin-Simmons University with an MBA in Economics and Finance.
Personal Background/ Interests
Mac is a native of Abilene, Texas. He and his wife Susan have one son, John McClure who has joined them in their business serving as Executive Vice President. Susan and John also hold the prestigious CCIM designation. Mac is an avid bird hunter and has made numerous trips to South America. He is a Life Member of the Dallas Safari Club and was extremely involved with the Dallas Ecological Foundation.
